Our Story
Coons Construction Inc. was founded on a straightforward premise: that clients deserve a contractor who shows up, communicates clearly, and builds to the highest standard — every time.
CEO David Coons began his construction career more than 30 years ago, working his way through every aspect of the industry from field work to project management to executive leadership. That depth of experience — from the tools to the boardroom — means Coons Construction understands construction the way few companies do.
Over the years, David and his team have delivered projects for clients including the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the Broadmoor Hotel, and Rexel USA, as well as hundreds of residential and commercial clients throughout El Paso County and beyond.

Our A-1 license means we are authorized to build across the full spectrum of construction — residential, commercial, and specialty systems including SCIP construction. You won’t need to bring in a separate contractor for different phases of your project. We manage it all.
